Responsibilities Of Accountant Jobs In Johannesburg
- Managing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Providing financial guidance and support to management teams.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Conducting audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Utilizing accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making.
- Staying updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Requirements
- Must have completed or be completing a SAICA accredited
- Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA).
- Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) or an equivalent qualification
- Honours (HNS) in Accounting
- Graduate Diploma in Accounting (GDA) or equivalent
- Post passing GDA, CTA or PGDA you must be eligible to write the ITC Board assessment
