Responsibilities of Senior Manager Job
- Understanding and de-coding Absa’s corporate real estate objectives to ensure that the individual delivers to these objectives.
- Input into Strategy and planning –Workplace, relocation occupancy management, and change management.
- Stakeholder engagement with the Corporate Real Estate regional leadership team and senior leadership teams within the business.
- Drive the collection of accurate data to facilitate a current view of both demand and desk supply across Absa, inclusive of headcount databases and business impacts and risks.
- Input into occupancy management and occupancy management strategies, driving Absa’s corporate real estate objectives.
- Restack and refurbishment relocation planning, and implementation of these plans, inclusive of driving coherent working together with other Absa vendors.
- Flight plan sequencing and logistics per specific projects. Manage team to deliver on these plans effectively.
- Manage the Absa occupancy data within Absa’s preferred application.
- Ensure that systems (WebCore, Condeco, Sensors, Workday, Horizon Swipe Data) processes and checks are in place to guarantee that occupancy data is maintained.
- Accurate cost allocation data, principles, and policies are always maintained.
- Provide data-driven insights around cost savings opportunities.
- Input into real estate portfolio in terms of rationalization, utilization, and transfer pricing methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in operations management, with a track record of leadership in driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, including supply chain management, logistics, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations and achieve organizational goals.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements relevant to operations management.
