About us
Suncrest Orchard is a family-owned and operated orchard with 3 generations working hands-on in the business. We grow over 30 varieties of cherries and are Global GAP, SQF (HACCP) and GRASP accredited. This means we are a safe, sustainable company, practicing good agricultural practices and we comply with national employment legislation.
About the role
- We offer a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours per week.
- Fixed term agreements.
- A range of accommodation on the orchard.
- We pay an end of season bonus.

What do you need to join us
- No experience is necessary as we will train you in the best and most efficient picking techniques to improve your productivity and to prevent damage to the fruit.
- You will need a good level of fitness to be able to climb and carry a 2.7m ladder between orchard blocks.
- You enjoy working outside.
- You enjoy being part of a team.
- You’re self-motivated.
- You have a positive can-do attitude.
- It goes without saying that you’re reliable and punctual and will always get the job done.
It’s a great way to learn a new skill, earn money and meet a great bunch of people.
Our Cherry export season begins early/mid December and goes through until late January/early February.
