Responsibilities Of Risk Management Jobs In Johannesburg
- Build relationships with senior internal stakeholders to understand the business and support GIA’s objectives.
- Identify and address audit practices impacting client experience, recommending improvements.
- Ensure team compliance with GIA methodology, policies, and procedures, guiding members to enhance their understanding and application.
- Maintain a comprehensive risk assessment for informed audit planning and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of audit technology by providing input on technology needs.
Requirements
- Degree – Mathematics/Financial Engineering/Quantitative Risk Management Degree with majors in Mathematics, Statistics (Min)
- Post Graduate Degree – Mathematics/Financial Engineering/Quantitative Risk Management (Pref)
- 1 – 2 years: Experience analysing complex sets of data to interpret, visualise and identify trends. Understanding of IT controls.
- 3 – 5 years: Planning and executing audits
- The ability to inspect, transform, and model data to inform and support the internal audit process and decision-making.
