The Role of Software Engineer job

Marigold Engage by Sailthru is looking for a strong individual contributor who can work in our Data Analytics team, which is responsible for a number of our reporting and metrics features that we expose to our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll love working with a mix of languages and technologies. Our team works in Java, Golang and Python, and we work with a mix of databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL and data lake technologies like Databricks.
  • If you have some frontend skills that’s an added win as we occasionally make changes in that area, but we can help you learn/build the skills needed.
  • Build event-driven systems using technologies such as Kafka and Kinesis and working with powerful streaming technologies.
  • Work with AWS cloud and Kubernetes for running the production stack.
  • Help our customer success and support teams with escalations and work with the team to diagnose and fix rare and interesting problems.
  • Be part of our regular oncall rotation with the other team members.

About You

  • You’re someone who loves technology and cares deeply about the products you build and the customers who use them.
  • You want to learn and grow your skillset whilst being surrounded by capable mentors operating in a high performing team on a sizeable SaaS product.
  • You have at least a year of commercial experience building quality, production-grade software through best practices, proven design patterns, and great teamwork.
  • You ideally have production experience with large SaaS products and working in a multi-team engineering organization.
