Job Description

Regional Head Wealth Job. Manage a portfolio of staff including Wealth Bankers, Transactional Bankers, Investment Managers and Administrators, Lending Specialists, Fiduciary Specialists, and Operations Managers to deliver a holistic wealth management service to client segment. Formulate tactical strategy and associated delivery plans related to all relevant practice areas.

Responsibilities of Regional Head Wealth Job

  • Oversight of end-to-end business for the Wealth segment across the region, comprising HNW & UHNW clients.
  • Client engagement, including client entertainment, client visitation, and addressing of any service concerns.
  • Member of Wealth National Executive Committee, reporting to Head of Wealth Management.
  • Input into financial target setting & determination of other key deliverables for the coverage team.
  • Business Development:  strategy formulation and implementation to achieve growth ambitions for revenue lines and products across the region.
  • Full accountability for the region’s revenue production.
  • Risk Management:  oversight and management of Credit portfolio, ensuring portfolio meets agreed risk management standards.
  • Regional Deal Forum member overseeing the quality of investment advice.
  • Ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management of team members towards the achievement of business objectives; Development and retention of key talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) may be preferred.
  • Extensive experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial services, with a track record of leadership and strategic management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and profitability in the wealth management sector.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients and stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial planning principles.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and regions to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate complex and dynamic business environments.

Education

  • Postgraduate Degrees and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required).
