Our business is currently seeking applicants for our Wagga Wagga facility. We are seeking applicants to fill Permanent part time positions. Rosters are often 5 days on from Monday to Sunday with some overtime work available.
The Poultry Farm Worker role will see you working in a controlled livestock environment to carry out the general duties associated with housing, rearing and hatching poultry. Duties such as, assisting in incubation, processing day old chickens, floor walking, feeding chickens, reporting, and maintaining strict biosecurity, quality, welfare and safety standards.
To be considered for these roles you must possess:
- Enthusiasm to learn and a positive attitude to be an effective part of the team
- A proven track record of reliability, hard work and willingness to deliver and make a difference for our customers
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks between 10-20kgs with no physical restrictions
- Ability to perform repetitive bending and lifting
- Own transport and drivers licence is a must!

Experience in poultry farming is preferable but not essential as complete on the job training is provided. Importantly we are seeking the right candidates that align with our Values which include team orientated, continuous improvement together with care and respect for employees and our poultry.
The poultry breeding industry has very strict bio-security and animal welfare standards as such applicants must satisfy our Biosecurity requirements including having no contact with other chickens, pet birds, pigs, or intensive livestock operations.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, which includes a drug and alcohol test. Also, this environment requires Respiratory Protective Equipment, which means the mask seal area is to be free of facial hair.
