Responsibilities of Private Clients Advisor Job
- Contribute to the development of a larger overall area budget.
- Develop the budget for the next financial year for an area of responsibility taking all operational plans into consideration.
- Research and design a longer-term financial resource requirement plan for the area of responsibility.
- Present the business case to motivate financial resources.
- Analyse and develop implementation plans against the forecasted financial budget.
- Develop a tactical budget for areas of responsibility that minimize expenditure and manage costs.
- Engage in cross-functional relationships to obtain and provide work support.
- Contribute to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking, benchmarking, and representation on related forums.
- Stays abreast of relevant industry risk management best practices and legislative amendments and suggests ways to leverage these to ensure continuous improvement.
- Creates risk awareness and manages audit findings.
- Drive strategic projects, change management, and platform integration across operations.
- Leverage Group capability to exploit opportunities.
- Ensure and encourage adherence to an operational framework of policies and procedures.
- Be aware of, and responsive to local conditions.
- Develop and implement a personal development plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial advisory or wealth management, preferably with high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to analyze complex financial situations and provide personalized advice and solutions.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are preferred.
- Regulatory knowledge and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
