Responsibilities Of Lead Consultant Jobs

  • Execute on the comprehensive Core M&A strategy specifically tailored to the GSM offering and opportunities.
  • Continuously analyse the commercialisation landscape to identify opportunities for growth, economies of scale and innovation.
  • Provide intelligence, assisting business to maintain competitive edge and drive sustainable growth.
  • Apply systematic approach and execution of M&A lifecycle for the successful delivery of initiatives and opportunities.
  • Leverage specialised knowledge and expertise in expanding market presence, streamlining operations, enabling technologies, and market dynamics to create and implement targeted business growth strategies.
  • Manage end to end projects for Group and Opcos by leading cross functional teams, managing budgets and delivery milestones. 
  • Coordinate due diligence processes with multi-disciplinary teams across various Opcos and business entities.
  • Assist in defining metrics to measure the success of the implementation of localisation, consolidation and exit deals. 
  • Assist with the appointment and coordination of external advisors.
  • Coordinate execution of transactions including coordination of legal, tax, accounting, technology and commercial issues into final legal documentation. 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-year tertiary degree in Finance/Business/Telecoms Engineering Degree.
  • CA (SA) / ACMA (CIMA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&A Management role or in Capital Investment.
  • Proven track record of successful M&A activities for Core GSM Core.
  • Experience in strategic planning and strategy implementation.
  • Experience in Global/Emerging Markets.
  • Experience with managing various stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Experience in leveraging AI tools is advantageous.
