Responsibilities of Investment Institute Head Job

  • Design and implement new or cutting-edge solutions and processes and initiate innovations and changes aligned to investment institute strategy to increase profile as an investment destination.
  • Execute relevant business initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress.
  • Develop an operational plan that incorporates goals and objectives that work toward the strategic direction of the Institute.
  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, and innovative and integrated practice solutions.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the institute’s programs and services.

Requirements

  • Plan for value-added process improvements and initiatives.
  • Provide investment research guidance, strategy, portfolio solutions, and thought leadership.
  • Set priorities to shape and structure the future of the institute by providing a framework for long-term initiatives and milestones to be achieved. 
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the institute’s programs and services.
  • Represent the Institute at forums and events where needed, to initiate, develop and manage strategic relationships with outside organizations as appropriate.
  • Work closely with the research and insight team.
  • Use insights and knowledge gained from high-level research reports to influence the direction of the business unit.

Education

  • Have a CFP and a Finance Degree.
  • Work with the marketing to develop a communications plan that includes guidance on how information will be disseminated across partners/stakeholders.
  • Develop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG.
  • Coach the team by providing advice about the subject matter, and personal progression with the aim of improving performance.
