Responsibilities Of Inventory Controller Jobs

• Responsible for receiving all goods into stores in line with an approved purchase order
• Responsible for receipting of goods received into the Procurement system for inventory management
•  Allocation of inventory into the correct storeroom locator
• Allocation of inventory to asset register
• Replenish minimum stock levels (create purchase order, receipting)
• Conduct monthly stock counts and reporting on stock levels, and anomalies and investigate variances (new & used storerooms)
• Conduct monthly reconciliation between physical inventory and asset register, goods issued and received (new & used storerooms)
• Update waybill details in the asset register (per item) for outbound
• Receive and manage equipment from cancelled services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience in inventory management or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory handling techniques
