Responsibilities Of Inventory Controller Jobs
- Responsible for receiving all goods into stores in line with an approved purchase order
- Responsible for receipting of goods received into the Procurement system for inventory management
- Â Allocation of inventory into the correct storeroom locator
- Allocation of inventory to asset register
- Replenish minimum stock levels (create purchase order, receipting)
- Conduct monthly stock counts and reporting on stock levels, and anomalies and investigate variances (new & used storerooms)
- Conduct monthly reconciliation between physical inventory and asset register, goods issued and received (new & used storerooms)
- Update waybill details in the asset register (per item) for outbound
- Receive and manage equipment from cancelled services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience in inventory management or related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory handling techniques
