Responsibilities Of Insurance Product Manager Jobs
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for new insurance products
- Develop product strategies and roadmaps to meet business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including actuaries, underwriters, and marketing to bring new products to market
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand positioning and pricing strategies
- Define product features and benefits based on customer feedback and market research
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing enhancements
- Monitor product performance and profitability, making data-driven decisions for optimization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Communicate product updates and changes internally and externally
- Provide training and support to sales teams on product features and benefits
Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate together with a relevant business degree or similar [majors in Risk, Finance, or Insurance will be an advantage]
- Full Qualification as recognised by the Registrar.
- Postgraduate or professional qualification in risk and relevant experience an advantage
- Be prepared to write and pass the KI examination should this be required and requested.
- Results orientated/Customer service focused, and people orientated.
- Ability to apply logic and reason as well as interpersonal skills.
