Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our facilities management team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of our premises. This role is crucial in ensuring a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Cleaning Tasks:
    • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and common areas.
    • Dust and polish furniture, surfaces, and equipment.
    • Empty trash bins, ensuring waste is disposed of properly.
    • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  2. Restroom Maintenance:
    • Sanitize and clean sinks, toilets, and urinals.
    • Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  3. Specialized Cleaning:
    • Handle spills and stains promptly and effectively.
    • Perform deep cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, floor waxing, and upholstery cleaning as needed.
    • Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  4. Health and Safety:
    • Follow all health and safety regulations.
    • Use cleaning chemicals and supplies according to safety procedures.
    • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or necessary repairs to the Facilities Manager.
  5. Additional Duties:
    • Assist with setting up and cleaning for events and meetings.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience as a cleaner or janitor is preferred but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
    • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.

Working Conditions:
