Responsibilities Of General Manager Jobs
- Strategic alignment and integration of technology infrastructure across MTN Group.
- Drive efficiency initiatives and cost optimization strategies.
- Provide technical leadership in vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Lead development and implementation of Net Zero and Data Centre strategies.
- Manage governance structures and policies to support Project Zero initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and partnerships for infrastructure enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and performance metrics in vendor relationships.
- Spearheaded initiatives for continuous improvement in infrastructure operations.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-year Academic Degree with Honours (B Eng. / BSc Degree Preferred)
- MBA / Masters advantageous
- English, French and Arabic (as an advantage)
- Relevant certification/accreditation/membership with the professional body as required for the role
