• Factory processing roles available now
• Rostered day and night shifts
• Day shift – 8-12 hour shifts
• Night shift – 8- 12 hour shifts
• Timaru and South Canterbury region
• Pay rate from $25.00 – $29.66 / hour
• Minimum 30 hours per week

Previous experience in factory processing is ideal, but not essential, as full training will be given.

You must be physically fit, be able to pass drug testing and commit to the shift patterns on offer.

Key duties will include:

• Operating and maintaining machinery
• Sorting and stacking product
• Testing product quality
• Washing down plant and machinery, including workstations and floors
• Inputting data into a basic computer system
• Labelling and moving product
• Knife handling, trimming of product
• Using hoist to lift and move heavy items
• Stacking racks and pallets
• Sorting and grading product into bins
• Testing of finished product

To succeed in this role you must:

• Be physically fit and capable of safely completing the required tasks
• Be able to commit to the shift hours required, work day, night, and weekend shifts
• Be able to work in a close team and follow work instructions to meet production deadlines
• Be committed to health and safety awareness at work
• Factory processing experience in a production environment (preferred) but not essential as training will be provided
• Pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing
