Responsibilities of Engineering Manager Retail Job
- Providing Head of Engineering with advice on Energy and Demand management as well as Retail Branch Portfolio Electrical, Mechanical, and Fire design overlay and compliances.
- Ensure implementation of energy efficiency initiatives in all Absa Retail portfolio and or facilities, identified by Engineering management contractor or consultant.
- Develop and manage the Ensure Environmental Assessment plans and Targets to ensure and align with the overall sustainability strategy.
- Identify the need for new or revised electrical/mechanical and fire engineering supplier relationships by reviewing and formulating maintenance specifications.
- Provide technical contribution to risk management strategy for CRES organization by categorizing, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Coordinate and manage projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in engineering management, preferably within the retail industry.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in software development, systems architecture, and infrastructure management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
