Data Culture Job. The Head of Data Culture, Talent, and Ethics will be responsible for developing and driving the execution of strategies that build towards a robust data culture and enhance data literacy throughout CIB. The Head of Data Culture will also oversee the implementation of data ethics initiatives that ensure the data practices are consistent with the values and principles.
Responsibilities of Data Culture Job
- Develop a Data Culture initiative roadmap that defines the vision, and goals for enhancing data culture.
- Talent and Capability mapping that identifies the current and future data skills and competencies required for CIB.
- Execute Data Culture and Literacy initiatives that include designing and delivering data education across CIB.
- Execute Data Ethics initiatives that include developing and implementing data ethics policies and guidelines, and best practices across CIB.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-driven initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Design and maintain data infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Train and mentor team members on data analytics tools and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data technologies.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders effectively.
- Drive innovation by exploring new data sources and analytical techniques.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years working on data culture and literacy-related projects.
- Technically proficient data professional with relevant working experience of data literacy, data ethics, data governance, privacy and/or risk/compliance.
- Involved in building the Data capability in an organization, especially in data literacy uplift, culture, and business change.
- Desirable to have worked in a similar role in an investment or commercial bank.
Education
- Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce, and Management Studies (Required).
