Responsibilities Of Compliance Officer Jobs In Johannesburg
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing compliance policies, procedures, and standards in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance policies and regulations.
- Monitoring and analyzing changes in regulatory requirements and assessing their impact on the organization’s operations.
- Providing advice and guidance to management and staff on compliance-related matters.
- Investigating compliance violations, irregularities, or discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Developing and delivering compliance training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote understanding of compliance obligations.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as legal, risk management, and internal audit departments, to address compliance issues effectively.

Requirements
- Relevant Degree (Audit / Business Commerce / Legal – Min
- Post Graduate Qualification (Audit / Insurance) – Pref
- 3 – 5 years: Specialised compliance knowledge in insurance regulations
- 5 – 7 years: Expert experience in Compliance with a sound knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements
- The ability to analyse process controls for effectiveness from a design and implementation perspective.
