- Establish an overall area budget that enables the achievement of the strategic intent of the business.
- Manage budget to control expenditure and ensure the efficient use of resources.
- Monitor the financial integrity of business and proactively deal with financial challenges.
- Develop operational efficiency and quality standards in line with the targeted financial performance of the business.
- Develop and ensure execution of integrated financial strategies to maximize growth across business areas.
- Develop integrated frameworks, guidelines, and optimization plans to drive profitability and economic value-add.
- Ensure financial strategies and processes are consistent with the objectives of the Group.
- Create professional forums where financial health can be tracked and analyzed at the board level.
- Influence and align strategic intent and delivery to provide value add to customers and shareholders.
- Create alignment, collaboration, and synergy between the various specialist areas to provide a comprehensive business solution to customers.
- Balance interests of a variety of clients, readily readjusting priorities to respond to pressing and changing client demands.
- Anticipate and apply, policies/procedures to manage and control both financial and non-financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Ensure that sales strategies are aligned across customer value propositions.
- Ensure availability, support, and maintenance of all IT systems under its business requirements.
- Develop IT strategy in support of business objectives.
- Identify business opportunities or create new business concepts and development approaches to support.
- Ensure robustness and quality of IT architectural decisions including motivations to the required FRG governance bodies.
- Control the management of agreed IT and architectural projects to ensure successful implementation within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in information technology leadership roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic technology initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their potential impact on business operations.
- Proficiency in managing complex IT infrastructures, including networks, systems, and applications.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices to safeguard digital assets and mitigate risks.
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management to optimize technology investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) may be preferred.
