Responsibilities of Business Development Head Job
- Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure optimized customer experience and service throughout the value chain.
- Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadership.
- Drive the increase in market share growth by sales activities with the increase in assets and liabilities growth.
- Achieve revenue targets by either growing a portfolio of existing clients (optimizing revenue opportunities) or by acquiring new clients.
- Drive an increase in the average balance of a specific portfolio of assets as defined in the Financial Performance Report of the business.
- Manage market positioning, new business, and complex deals.
- Maximise business portfolio cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
- Develop materials and documentation including minimum standards templates, guidelines, and FAQs and processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise.
- Identify and encourage participation in activities that are appropriate for own and employee development in areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative business development strategies.
