Job Description
Business Analyst C2 Job. Responsible for eliciting and validating business requirements with stakeholders and analyzing and translating business requirements into requirement packages from which application solutions are developed. The business analyst is responsible for defining business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes.
Responsibilities of Business Analyst C2 Job
- Analyse business from all aspects to develop an in-depth understanding of the business.
- Work with end users and project owners to identify business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Do a gap analysis between the current and required specifications.
- Oversee the planning and execution of systems testing.
- Analyze existing business processes and facilitate with stakeholders to make improvements.
- Identify and define business processes and system development or configuration requirements to realize the process end goal.
- Work with project team members to define metrics/performance goals/ acceptance criteria for the solution or system.
- Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for unit development, system integration, and UAT.
- Participate in quality reviews or set reviews of designs, prototypes, and other work products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a corporate or IT environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Proficiency in business process modeling techniques such as BPMN or UML.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews, and workshops, and facilitate meetings to elicit requirements and gather feedback.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and principles.
- Certification(s) such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or similar is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and domain knowledge as needed for project requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
