Bayanihan Elementary School February 2007 - May 2012
Grade 1 Teacher-Adviser
Teaching first graders presents a unique blend of challenges and rewards. On the challenging side, young learners often have limited attention spans, requiring lessons to be engaging and concise. additionally, managing classroom behavior can be demanding, as first graders are still developing self-regulation skills. On the rewarding side, this grade is pivotal for foundational learning. Witnessing my first graders grasp their basic reading and math concepts made me feel happy and fulfilled. I have also built a strong relationship with my students which I believed had fostered them a lifelong love of learning.
