If you’re up for a new opportunity in an exciting environment unlike any other, the Dot Foods warehouse team needs you. As a warehouse worker, you’ll use various warehouse machinery to navigate our warehouses and assemble customer orders safely and efficiently.

While it’s a physical job, you don’t need to be the biggest or strongest in order to succeed. You just need to have the right attitude and the ability to stay focused and organized. Our seasoned team of trainers and safety experts will make sure you’re set up for success from day one.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Follow precise directions to assemble customer orders by loading cases onto a pallet**
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (no prior certification required)
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers

**Average case weight is 14 pounds. Heaviest case is 60 pounds.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • A safety-first mindset
  • Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test
  • Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to safely operate powered equipment
  • Good attendance record

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Background in production-based job


ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Schedule: Wed-Sat, 7:00am-5:30pm
  • Multi-temperature warehouse environments: -5 degrees (frozen warehouse), 36 degrees (refrigerated warehouse), and ambient temperatures (dry warehouse)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities:

Il s’agit d’un poste de niveau débutant en soutien de la livraison de pièces automobiles à nos précieux clients commerciaux. Le poste demande également de prêter main-forte pour différentes tâches et pour la prise d’inventaire au magasin ou au centre de distribution.

Voici une liste des responsabilités du poste :

  • Observer les règles de sécurité et les lois en vigueur ;
  • Utiliser un véhicule de l’entreprise pour livrer de la marchandise à nos clients en suivant un itinéraire préétabli et conformément au manifeste de livraison. Cueillir les retours autorisés, les paiements en espèces ou par chèque. Cueillir et livrer de la marchandise entre les succursales Worldpac ou les points d’approvisionnement (feeder points) ;
  • Remplir les manifestes de livraison conformément aux directives. Signaler à la direction toute situation qui peut avoir un impact négatif sur l’efficacité de l’itinéraire ;
  • Effectuer l’inspection de routine de son véhicule chaque jour avant la première livraison ;
  • Maintenir la précision de l’inventaire à l’aide du système AS/400 ;
  • Effectuer d’autres tâches connexes, dont le chargement de camion.

Qualifications:

  • Être titulaire d’un permis de classe 5 depuis au moins trois ans. Conserver un bon dossier de conduite et informer immédiatement la direction de tout changement ;
  • Soulever 23 kg (50 lb) ;
  • Avoir une apparence professionnelle et respecter la philosophie de l’entreprise quant au service à la clientèle ;
  • Être disponible du lundi au vendredi deux ;
  • Être passionné du service à la clientèle. S’efforcer d’offrir un service à la clientèle exceptionnel ;
  • Communiquer clairement à l’oral et à l’écrit avec les clients et les autres employés ;
