Responsibilities of Network Operator Jobs
- Monitor and manage all vendor contracts and network issues to ensure significant issues are resolved.
- Provide feedback on standardized procedures, tools, and processes for MTN South Africa regions.
- Engage stakeholders in identifying process and tool improvements, ensuring alignment and best practices.
- Drive the implementation of the Network Managed Services and PaaS operational models.
- Continuously evaluate process and tool performance to drive improvement initiatives.
- Identify network service issues and propose improvement ideas for network operations.
- Facilitate audits of network managed services in accordance with established standards.
- Manage vendors to ensure they meet performance requirements and SLAs.
Requirements
- Degree or National Diploma in light current engineering, telecommunications or a related field..
- Fluent in English
- 5 years’ experience in a telecoms or IT environment. At least three years’ experience in leading or managing technical task teams or in a supervisory role.
- Must have good communication skills
