Responsibilities Of CIB Quant Jobs
- Conduct quantitative analysis to support various aspects of the investment banking business.
- Develop and implement quantitative models for pricing financial products and derivatives.
- Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends and patterns in financial data.
- Conduct risk assessment and stress testing for investment portfolios and trading strategies.
- Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to optimize investment decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on quantitative analysis to inform trading strategies and investment decisions.
- Monitor market trends and developments to assess their impact on investment portfolios and strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide quantitative analysis and support as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of a postgraduate degree in: Some background in Finance (Actuarial Science, Math of Finance, BMI (Business Mathematics and Informatics) etc) – can be BCom Hons/ BSc Hons or higher.
- South African Citizen
- Maximum of two years’ work experience
- Minimum of 60% average over all years of study
